A Finish to Start (FS) is an activity dependency (relations among series of work activities) in the network schedule. A FS logic sequence means that following activity (successor) can be started after predecessor activity is finished. A FS relation can enhance project control and coordination, especially when dealing with complex projects with interdependent tasks that helps in minimising delays and ensuring for the project progresses smoothly.
